SHERI ROUNTREE

As Vice President of Capital Projects, Sheri manages all new developments and centralizes all purchasing to reduce costs for each hotel. As head of Newport Hospitality Group’s capital projects team, she guides renovations and construction projects from budgeting and design to project completion, always delivering on-time, on-budget and with spectacular results.

Being a part of the development process and seeing a property open its doors for its first guests is what drives Sheri to make every hotel project she works on a stunning success. With over 25 years in the hospitality industry, she has extensive experience in coordinating procurements and installations, with over 50 renovations and 12 new construction projects completed during her career.

Having worked with numerous interior designers, architects and contractors, Sheri knows what resources will enhance the guest experience. She is an expert in finding the right vendors and sourcing cost-effective materials to deliver a quality property for owners each and every time.

When she isn’t juggling a dozen different projects at once, Sheri likes to spend time with her family. She’s especially fond of anything beach-related, and living close to the Outer Banks gives her one of the world’s most captivating shorelines to explore.
